Full Strength Premium Nutrition Shake Review
by Scott Tousignant · Filed Under: Body Sculpting Meals
In keeping with my promise of informing you about the things that have a dramatic impact on transforming my body and health, it’s time to update you on my experience with Shawn Phillips Full Strength Premium Nutrition Shake, which I have for breakfast every day (can’t go a day without it), and on occasion as part of a post-workout meal.
Several months ago I informed my valued Metabolic Masterpiece blog readers that I had just received my first order of Full Strength, which was a 14 day trial containing 7 packages of vanilla powder, 7 packages of chocolate powder, the best darn protein shaker that I’ve ever used, and an awesome t-shirt.
After the first 7 days I was beyond impressed with Full Strength. I have never had a more delicious, nourishing, and satisfying meal replacement shake in my life. So I went ahead and ordered a 3 month supply to see how Full Strength would impact my physique and health over an extended period of time.
Best Breakfast EVER!
After consuming a Full Strength Premium Nutrition Shake for breakfast every day for several months and consistently experiencing unbelievable energy, increased performance in and out of the gym, greater fat loss and muscle gain, and increased strength, I am beyond confident in providing Full Strength with a huge two thumbs up for quality and satisfaction!
In my humble opinion, Full Strength is the best possible breakfast that you can consume. It contains 40 grams of the best protein, 25 grams of quality carbs, and 5 grams of healthy fats. But that’s not all. It also includes loads of vitamins and nutrients and 12 grams of glutamine. Before Full Strength I was buying a multi-vitamin and glutamine separately. Now I don’t have to!
The Full Strength premium nutrition shake also includes Selenium, zinc, magnesium, 500 mg of added taurine and tyrosine. It has a built in antioxidant blend, probiotics for gut health, and aminogen enzyme. There is a great reason why Full Strength is considered a “Premium Nutrition Shake”. Nothing else can compare to it.
Since I began consuming a Full Strength shake for breakfast every day, I have consistently hit personal bests in the gym week after week and workout after workout. This is all while being in a caloric deficit as I get my body fat percentage down to the “Ripped” level.
I’d love for you to take just two minutes to watch this video and see exactly why Full Strength works so well…
It’s for all the reasons mentioned in this video and so much more, that I have become a Full Strength fan for life! As mentioned, not only is this shake delicious (best tasting shake ever!), it satisfies you for several hours. I must mention that I rarely add anything to my Full Strength shake. This level of incredible energy and satisfaction is achieved with just the Full Strength powder and water (sometimes ice).
Frankly this blows my mind, because even when I add fruit and other foods to every other meal replacement or protein shakes I am hungry within an hour.
Do yourself a huge favor and at least order yourself a 14 Day Trial of Full Strength. I guarantee that you will be blown away and will become a customer for life as I am and many, many others. If you’re not satisfied (which would shock me), no worries, because Full Strength is guaranteed to satisfy you or you get your money back.
Currently, Shawn is also offering a 12 Day Reboot package that includes the 14 day trial of Full Strength and a 12 day online guided reboot, which is an advanced version of his Basecamp, which you’ll find in his book Strength For Life.

My body is powered by Full Strength, and as this shirt says, “True Strength Is Built From The Inside Out.”
I’m looking forward to hearing about your experience with Full Strength and how it helps you live to your fullest potential!
Sculpt a Masterpiece,
Scott Tousignant
PS You may notice that this shake was created for men, but I do know many women who also enjoy Full Strength every day.
PPS In maintaining the integrity of my business and word, I believe that it’s important for me to inform you that I will earn approximately $5 in commission for every box of Full Strength that you purchase through a link on this page. If you are uncomfortable with that or it makes you feel less confident in my review, I encourage you to visit the Full Strength website without clicking on any of my links. That’s how much I believe in this product and want to see you experience the benefits of this amazing premium nutrition shake!
I have been a consumer of Full Strength and spreading the word about it, much longer than I have been an affiliate of product. I believe in Full Strength and Shawn Phillips has my utmost respect. You can trust in Shawn and in Full Strength.

Hi Scott,
How does it compare taste wise to PRograde vanilla?
What is the suggested serving for women that seems like ALOT of protein for one meal..
How long to ship to Canada? Cusotms fees?
Via the striking Canada Post or another carrier?
THAnKS!!!
Stacey
As I mentioned Stacey, it’s the best damn tasting shake I’ve ever had, and way more satisfying than anything I’ve ever had.
For women you could cut the shake in half if you wanted. Have half for breakfast and half post workout.
Full Strength is shipped via FedEX ground and takes about 5 days to get to me here in Canada from their Colorado location.
No customs fees.
I wouldn’t waste my time OR my limited funds on that crap. I’ll stick with my 100% orange juice, my hot oatmeal with a sliced banana and coffee with 1/2 and 1/2 and stevia. I’m diabetic and am careful what I eat. I know that orange juice is not recommended, but when you get up in the morning and feel weak, AND your glucometer says 61 – that’s when I hit the orange juice- so that I can get my blood sugar up to a more normal reading. That is one of the fastest ways to do it. Of course, you can waste your money on those ineffective tablets and HOPE that they will do the job – they don’t !!! Orange juice is the fastest and least expensive. Of course, I only use 100% juice – NO ADDITIVES, NOT frozen….
Keep drinking your OJ Will and good luck with that
Scott,
Thank you for your energy and support. I deeply appreciate the sharing of authentic energy and passion.
It’s so easy and common to fall into the belief that anyone who creates anything is doing it only to convince people to part with their money. Being suspect, fearful and/or defiant is not without reason in this insane world. But / and it’s a damn shame that people have succumb to it too. That they have or feel the have to live in defiance to feel strength in the own stance.
I absolutely positively believe in the individual free choice. That you can find what I offer in advice, experience, insight and even products at time helpful or just a nice story that someone cares to invest a life and energy in it. I have never forced anyone through any means of negative story or through questionable tactics to consume Full Strength. It’s not my desire nor my style.
And yet, in it’s glorious imperfection, it’s as perfect as one can get in a complete, balanced nutrition shake that is both nourishing, clean, quality, satisfying and supportive from an integral perspective–as it doesn’t just deliver protein, it’s not just a source of nutrients, it’s also specifically designed to deliver a balanced array of nutrients in such a stable, sane and intentional way that it supports sustained energy and stable, lasing blood sugar / insulin response. Which, then, has a direct impact on the hormonal response in the body–as insulin is the “master hormone.”
It can support a return to optimal testosterone levels, maintain peak growth hormone and even reduce the cortisol which tanks so many and elevates the stress that triggers it. There’s a complex cascade that takes place. And its’ this “optimal balanced response” that was likely the catalyst to the science wish showed it’s ability to stimulate muscle gain and fat loss at the same time–which simply does NOT happen.
Of course, in addition to boosting energy/Vo2 max, and lowering cholesterol levels.
But that said, it is what is is and for some who grow their own veggies, or live in a cave and eat only raw bear meat (hand captured, of course) it is not the right choice. And I celebrate that too. Never mind I’ve seen diabetics end reliance on insulin after months of Full Strength daily.
And in my celebration of the individual, I find Strength in compassion for those who feel so violated by the invitation to opportunity, who remain not just closed systems but threatened by openings, that they respond with negative energy. I trust that the need for this sort of response shall pass from their lives too as they find their true and full strength at the center of their beliefs.
For those with the greatest convictions, who are most secure and grounded in their choices, are usually the most silent, stalwart, living examples of the life they choose for themselves but require of no others.
I salute your clarity and support in response. That’s a man of Strength wishing the best to all those on the journey.
In Strength,
Shawn
I cannot find the source of the whey on the website…grass fed cows or hormone fed cows? also, contains sucrolose and artificial flavors??? That doesn’t sound good to me…please explain…I prefer stevia and not chemical sweetners.
Thanks for your question Debbie. I’ll have Shawn answer that directly.
I’m impressed with your desire to only fuel your body with the cleanest and most natural sources. I’m curious, are you able to eat a diet completely free of hormones and chemicals?
Hey Debbie, here’s some info that the Full Strength team sent me…
Protein Sourcing:
We understand the general concern of grass fed vs hormone fed cattle. While our farmers operate GMO-free, Full Strength’s proteins are organically processed, but they aren’t necessarily derived from organically raised cattle.
Due to processing, there isn’t a benefit to organic protein as there is with other organic foods. In fact, there is a process that removes the organic elements of milk before it’s then made into high quality proteins you find in Full Strength. With proteins, native elements (bioactive fractions, peptides Beta-lactoglobulin, Alpha-lactalbumin, etc.) are valued higher than the elements that determine the source of the milk, so an organic lifestyle of a cow isn’t as relevant as some are led to believe.
That said, our U.S.-based protein suppliers employ a commitment to sustainability in our land, air, and water resources as it relates to farming practices and feeding and caring for the cows. We continue to strive to use quality sourcing from grass fed cows so you can taste and feel the difference.
Our concern centers on the effectiveness of the proteins and the highest indicators of quality such as the density of bio-active fractions that registers off the charts with protein utilization ratios.
You will immediately note the clean, fresh taste and aroma of Full Strength upon opening the pouch and enjoying that very first sip. That is due in large part to the high quality source of whey protein isolate we use. It’s difficult to mask a poorly derived source of whey.
The whey protein in Full Strength is procured using a very high-tech proprietary Cross-flow Filtration process, second to none.
Instead of using destructive chemicals, our Cross-flow Filtration process sustains a more complete protein profile, with virtually no denatured proteins, a superior amino acid profile, more calcium, less sodium and higher bio-availability.
Sucralose:
With all the information out there regarding artificial sweeteners, it’s no wonder it’s become a polarizing and somewhat confusing topic.
Please know that when Full Strength was created by Shawn Phillips, that he did so with the intention of drinking two shakes daily. So really he created it with himself in mind as its top consumer.
Efficacy, satiety, safety and the highest quality ingredients were top considerations.
Since then, the Full Strength Shake has undergone a rigorous clinical study at the University of Oklahoma’s Department of Health and Exercise Science, wherein it was proven to swap fat for lean muscle, reduce cholesterol and increase energy. Read more about the study on the Full Strength website.
It appears that Sucralose has taken a hit because it’s often lumped in with asperatame — perceived to be “one and the same” and thus they get used interchangeably. Which of course is not an accurate portrayal of Sucralose.
It is important to note that we would not be using Sucralose in Full Strength unless we were 100% satisfied with the due diligence and acceptance of Sucralose by several national and international food safety regulatory bodies, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Joint Food and Agriculture Organization/World Health Organization Expert Committee on Food Additives, The European Union’s Scientific Committee on Food, Health Protection Branch of Health and Welfare Canada, and Food Standards Australia-New Zealand (FSANZ).
Sucralose can be found in more than 4,500 food and beverage products. It is used because it is a no-calorie sweetener, does not promote dental cavities, is safe for consumption by diabetics, among several other beneficial reasons.
The amount of Sucralose used in each serving is just enough to add to the satiety and sweetness—as Sucralose is 600 times sweeter than sugar, you can visualize the tiny increment in each serving.
Sucralose is one of only two artificial sweeteners ranked as “safe” by the consumer advocacy group Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI). They think it’s safe, but want manufacturers to acknowledge that it is an artificial sweetener, not sugar. We make no pretenses otherwise.
In determining the safety of Sucralose, the FDA reviewed data from more than 110 studies in humans and animals. Many of the studies were designed to identify possible toxic effects, including carcinogenic, reproductive, and neurological effects. No such effects were found, and FDA’s approval is based on the finding that Sucralose is safe for human consumption.
Results from over 100 animal and clinical studies in the FDA approval process unanimously indicated a lack of risk associated with Sucralose intake.
Hi Scott – I just followed the link and ordered the 14 day starter/ reboot package. I did this based on your recommendation as I typically stay away from ‘manufactured foods’. Even though I saw many of the testimonials touted weight loss as a benefit – that is surely not something I am after, I placed an order because I am on that constant, never ending journey (like you are, I assume, to build LEAN muscle and actually gain weight). I will keep you posted on my results! PEACE.
ROCK ON Sam! Gaining lean muscle is a top priority for me. You’re going to see a serious improvement to my physique during the next 6-12 months.
I can’t wait to hear your feedback and see the results that you experience from adding Full Strength to your nutrition plan.
I’ve been receiving loads of positive feedback from everyone else that I’ve ever recommended it to.

I’m into the third cycle of XFL and down five lbs, a couple of fat percentages and an inch or two here and there! The diet is good, not so much the workouts, but I have adjusted to meet my personal requirements.
I’m loaded up with prograde, but ordered the two week supply of Reboot as a follow on. Will be done with the ProGrade within the month.
I guess you endorse both, although you went from very high on ProGrade to now higher on Reboot!
Anyway, thanks for the info!
Bob
Prograde has a full line of supplements from BCAA’s, to Krill oil, pre/post workout, multi-vitamins, protein and more. I LOVE the Prograde team and stand behind their products. It’s very difficult to find supplement companies that operate with integrity and Prograde is definitely a company that you can trust.
Full Strength is not a full line supplement company. They’ve mastered one thing… the best damn tasting and nourishing shake that I’ve ever had.
That’s all that I endorse as far as supplement companies go. As always, I only endorse what I use and love. I only endorse what works for me.

No doubts here about your sincerity and integrity!
Bob
Thanks a million Bob. I sure appreciate your trust in me and I don’t take it for granted.
