This month I’ve been following the Physique Phreak workout and it’s been kick’n my butt! Day 3 focuses on Back and Abs with a bit of Chest. It begins with a 10-minute body weight challenge.
It’s a superset between Pull-Ups and Push-Ups. Here’s what it looks like…
Here’s how I did with the challenge last week…
11 pull-ups
40 push-ups
8 pull-ups
23 push-ups
6 pull-ups
18 push-ups
5 pull-ups
16 push-ups
5 pull-ups
15 push-ups
5 pull-ups

Total: 50 Pull-Ups and 157 Push-Ups in 10 minutes
So this week I will improve upon these numbers by reducing the rest period between sets.
As I mention in the video, I highly recommend that you do NOT go to failure with each set. If you do, you’ll require a long rest period to recover.
You are better off stopping 1-2 reps shy of your max and going with a shorter rest.
Feel free to use the Assisted Pull-Up machine and modified Push-Ups with your knees on the ground.
