In today’s behind the scenes footage I swapped out my post workout shake for one of my favorite post workout whole food meals. I also provide some other post workout meal ideas.

As I said, you do not need to take supplements in order to experience great results. For the most part, I drink a post-workout shake for convenience purposes… but I also LOVE it and enjoy the taste. It’s my reward after a hard workout.
Plus, there are health benefits associated with whey protein.
I’m currently consuming minimal supplements; whey protein, Full Strength premium nutrition shake, creatine, and caffeine.
That’s one of the benefits of the Supplement Reference Guide… you realize that many supplements aren’t worth the extra expense… and you can focus on the supplements with solid evidence to justify the investment.
Here’s my meal breakdown for the day…
Breakfast: approximately 450 calories
Post workout meal: approximately 500 calories
Third meal: approximately 450 calories
Treat: approximately 100 calories
Dinner (post workout): approximately 500 calories
Total calories: approximately 2000 calories
