Today I take you behind the scenes of a training session with my soon to be 94 year old training client. He’s proof that STRENGTH is your greatest asset in life.
I also share my favorite Saturday morning treat… and a very refreshing beer that Angie and I will be enjoying this Summer.
There are two important discussions in today’s video;
1) Your genetic response to exercise. Some people are high responders, some are non-responders, and the rest are somewhere in the middle. This is why I believe you should focus on your own personal journey… sculpting your own personal masterpiece, and avoid comparing yourself to others.
Frankly, I expect most people to experience better results than me while they follow the Aesthetic Muscle Plan. Not only because I consider myself near the lower end of the genetically ‘average exercise responders’, but because I have 20+ years of working out under my belt.
2) Do you feel hungrier when you experience a lack of sleep or are dehydrated?
Here’s the meal breakdown…
Breakfast: approximately 400 calories
Saturday treat: approximately 450 calories
Afternoon snacks: approximately 500 calories
Dinner: approximately 500 calories
Beer: approximately 255 calories
Total calories: Approximately 2100 calories
Here’s my activities for the day…
30 minute walk with my dog Chief… which really woke me up in the mid-afternoon and gave me a boatload of energy!

It’s amazing how exercise can really pick you up. I was feeling exhausted and tired during the early afternoon… and could have turned the entire day into a lazy day… spending most of it on the sofa watching movies.
…but instead, I brought Chief for a walk. The fresh air in addition to getting my blood flowing, really recharged my batteries.
I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences with you this coming week, and promise to be even more transparent than ever.
