HI, I’m back! It feels like forever since I’ve touched base with all of my fitness minded friends. Glad to be back to share my goals and journey with you and especially to hear about your own fitness successes.
I have been reading and watching Flavia Del Monte’s Workout Program and was so impressed on the content and quality of her videos. I’ve decided to follow her Curvalicious workout program. It’s been a long time since I’ve followed another persons program! I think the change will be great and look forward to putting my body through a totally different regimen.
Today I did her first circuit. Oh my…it was a killer. My legs were on fire and I was totally sweating! Felt great! It took some patience on my part to familiarize myself with the movements and to just get used to the rhythm of the workout. I know that when I do it again, I’ll be more efficient at it. If you are looking for something fun and totally heart pumping to do at the gym–I highly recommend it.
As we all know, finding the right workout program is only one piece of the puzzle to fitness success. What to eat?! I have been also reviewing an awesome recipe book, 500 Delicious Fat Burning Recipes… man, it is packed with so many easy and flavorful recipes! I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted to make for dinner. I finally settled on the “Chicken Taco Chili” This is done in a slow cooker. I love my slow cooker! Just toss in all the ingredients and you can leave the kitchen…you can even leave your home! I thought it would be perfect for our cooler weather here in Southern Ontario. It’s only 40’F today…chilly for chicken taco chili!
