The #1 rule for body sculpting success is to follow a structured plan, which will lead you to your desired destination. You must know exactly what you are going to do in order to bring you closer to your goal before you step foot in the gym. How many people do you see walking around the gym with a journal in their hand and recording their progress for each and every set? Not many at all. This is a huge reason why you see the same people in the gym year after year and they either look the same or worse. I had a great conversation with a young guy at the gym last week. He had only been using a journal for two weeks and he mentioned that it already had made a tremendous impact on his progress and mindset.

2011 WBFF World Championship
This morning I caught a video message from the 2010 WBFF World Champion Obi Obadike where he was talking about defending his title at the 2011 WBFF World Championship in Mississauga, Ontario Canada on August 27th. I have never attended any kind of bodybuilding or fitness model contest, but after seeing my buddy Vince DelMonte earn his pro card and hearing that he’ll be competing at this event, I knew that there was no way I could miss it.
Here’s the message from Obi…

Inspiring Pose That Illustrates The Beauty and Power Of Body Sculpting
As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been watching YouTube videos of fitness models and bodybuilders, as well as checking pictures of them as a means to inspire me to step up my game and increase my fascination with the human body.
During the past few weeks there has been one photo that has made a huge impression upon me. That photo is of Vince DelMonte and was taken by the great fitness photographer Jason Ellis, just prior to the Fitness Atlantic Championships…
This photo also caught Angie’s attention. She LOVED the pose that Vince hit during this picture. It’s amazing how about Inspiring Pose That Illustrates The Beauty and Power Of Body Sculpting
Setting The Stage For Fat Loss Success
When I made the decision to embark on this recent 84 day body transformation of mine, I knew that if I was going to be successful, I would have to put my “all or nothing” mindset at bay for a little while and ease my way into it. I’m talking mainly about my nutrition. My workouts have been absolutely killer for a while now, but if I wanted to get ripped I would have to really buckle down on my eating habits.
“Continuous Growth” has been a motto of mine during this transformation with the focus on constant progression. The decision to start off slow and build my way up has been one of the smartest choices that I’ve ever made. As I look at my daily pictures throughout this transformation there are times when I wonder if I would have achieved much faster results if I started out strong. The answer is a definite yes! Of course I would have experienced faster results… but, would I have made it this far? I may have been able to keep it up for a little while, but my chances of “falling off the wagon” would have increased tremendously.

Inspiration From Vince DelMonte’s Fitness Model Contest Journey
For the past couple months I have been incredibly inspired by the transformation that my buddy Vince DelMonte, author of No-Nonsense Muscle Building, has been going through in his efforts to earn his pro card as a Fitness Model. During the past 4 years of my friendship with Vince I have witnessed him continually improve himself and sculpt his body, but his transformation this year has been amazing! He’s packed on some great muscle and I’ve never seen him more cut. He’s officially in the best shape of his life.
Check out some of the behind the scenes footage from the Fitness Atlantic Championships. Lots of great info and inspiration throughout this entire video. You’ll dig it!
