JC Deen Metabolic Masterpiece
I always enjoy talking with JC. His approach and philosophies toward body recomposition resonate with me BIG TIME!

He embraces the process and soaks up every moment of the journey.

He has an open mind and eagerness to experiment with different methodologies… keeping things fresh and exciting while challenging his body in new ways. This is the beauty of the Physique Artist Lifestyle.

In this episode JC reveals the new (for him) training approach that he’s been following for the past 9 weeks… and how it has challenged him mentally and physically.

He also shares why he switched training methodologies… and what his goals are with this approach.

Aesthetic Muscle Journal: Mission Get Ripped Abs May 9th Check In

By Scott Tousignant on May 10, 2014

It’s time for my weekly progress update… holding myself accountable in my mission to get ripped abs after going through a long muscle building phase and gaining a small amount of fat in the process.

Aesthetic Muscle Mission Get Ripped Abs

I’ve been consistently burning 1 pound of fat per week, which is really becoming noticeable in my upper abs, obliques, and my back… The “Christmas Tree” is now in season ๐Ÿ˜‰

The lower abs are beginning to show themselves more. It’s the last place I melt the fat… in addition to the love handles. With the fat pretty much gone from most of my body we should really start to see the lower abs and obliques become more cut during the next two weeks.

I’m taking a new approach during this cutting phase… and it’s been a complete eye opener for me… and one hell of an amazing experience.

By Scott Tousignant on May 9, 2014

For the past couple years I’ve been using the trap bar for Deadlifts and finding that I’m becoming quad dominant… so I had my buddy Nate refresh my technique with the Conventional Deadlift.

I also asked him to show me some Olympic Lifts that I could incorporate into my Physique Training workouts… to add a new dimension to my training…

I also need to work on my wrist and forearm flexibility with the Front Squat. I’ve been using the crossover grip… and want to start using the conventional grip.
