I’ve seen a few different variations of the high protein dessert balls across the blogosphere and decided to do a little experimenting with some recipes of my own.
Today I created the High Protein Apple Cinnamon Dessert Balls.
Here’s how to prepare this tasty high protein treat…
This recipe is pretty sweet. Feel free to cut the amount of honey to 1/2 tbsp
This would make for a great pre or post workout treat. Enjoy!

PS I just received a great suggestion from one of our fellow physique artists Yvonne, who mentioned that she doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth. She suggested using organic unsweetened applesauce instead of the honey.
That’s a great substitute that I will be trying tomorrow. I have a feeling that I won’t need to add any water if I add 1 Tbsp of applesauce. I’ll be sure to update you soon… and I have more recipe ideas in mind.
