The most common question that I get asked is, “How can I sculpt amazing arms like you?” This question doesn’t just come from people at the gym or my blog subscriber. Bodybuilders and fitness models have been picking my brain for years on my arm training secrets.
I guess you could say that my arms are one of my greatest physical attributes. This hasn’t happened by accident. While many people in the gym are following the latest fad workout programs that ditch isolation exercises because some “fitness experts” claim that you are wasting your time with them, I’m busy incorporating them into my training in order to give my physique a finished and polished look.
I put together this video in response to the question, “How can I sculpt amazing arms”…
When training your arms it’s important to hit them from a variety of angles, using varying grips and multiple exercises. Your arms are made up of many muscles and neglecting any of them will impact the overall appearance of your arms.
It’s important to vary the type of training protocol that you use with the exercises discussed in the video as well. You can do straightsets, supersets, dropsets, pyramids, and all kinds of protocol. Be sure to mix things up every 4-8 weeks.
I also recommend that you vary your rep ranges too. Women are under the illusion that increasing the weight and reducing the reps will make them look big and bulky. Unless you are taking performance enhancing drugs, you have nothing to fear.
Mix things up by performing 10-12 reps for some exercises, 8-10 for others, 6-8, and 4-6 reps as well. It’s not a bad idea to do even higher reps from time to time too.
I prefer to do the heavier sets and few reps toward the beginning of the workout to focus on strength, then move onto the higher rep ranges to focus on hypertrophy and really get the pump and burn.
When you perform varying rep ranges throughout the workout you will hit more muscle fibers and stimulate your nervous system in a variety of ways. All of this leads to better results and improved performance.
I hope that you enjoyed this video and I look forward to seeing the results that you experience from putting these exercises into practice.
