As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been watching YouTube videos of fitness models and bodybuilders, as well as checking pictures of them as a means to inspire me to step up my game and increase my fascination with the human body.
During the past few weeks there has been one photo that has made a huge impression upon me. That photo is of Vince DelMonte and was taken by the great fitness photographer Jason Ellis, just prior to the Fitness Atlantic Championships…
This photo also caught Angie’s attention. She LOVED the pose that Vince hit during this picture. It’s amazing how a pose can capture so many emotions, thoughts, and feeling. I see power, strength, and grace that was captured in this image.
One thing that really came to mind for me was how important the development of the back muscles are. That’s one set of muscles that many people rarely check out on themselves.
It’s incredibly impressive when you can see the striations in the shoulders, arms, and throughout the back. I love it!
Our body truly is a work of art, that we can continue sculpting for as long as we desire. It’s a gift that we have been granted and it’s up to us to make the most out of it.
