Boulder shoulders or cannonball shoulders are terms labeled for men who possess this feature. It’s an image of strength, power, and brawn.

Unfortunately, many fitness enthusiasts structure their shoulder workouts with a dominance toward the front and lateral aspect of the deltoid, with little or no attention to the rear portion of the delt.
There’s something about lagging rear delts that make a physique look incomplete. Not only does it take away from the fullness of your shoulders, but it also reduces the visual impact of your triceps, due to the lack of separation between the two muscle groups.
