Today I took the leap and shaved my entire body. With my photo shoot coming up in two weeks I knew that I wanted to reveal as much muscle definition and vascularity as possible, but I didn’t want to wait until the morning of the photo shoot to see what I would look like… and more important, to make sure that I won’t get a rash and full of red bumps.
Being a pretty hairy guy, this process took quite some time π First I went over my chest, arms, and legs with a beard trimmer, then it was time to pull out the bic.
Thanks to the advice of a female friend in Tom Venuto’s Burn The Fat Inner Circle, I followed her recommendation and applied a product called Bikini Zone over my shaved skin in order to reduce redness, bumps, and skin irritation. It worked like a charm. I was very grateful because my chest is a sensitive area and I really didn’t want to get all bumpy there.
This experience was a bit of a shock to my wife. Her initial reaction was laughing at me, but then she immediately saw that my muscle definition and vascularity was much improved by shaving my entire body. We spent the night comparing who had softer legs (ME) π
All in all I am very happy with the experience and I’m actually hooked on shaving. I’m definitely leaning toward maintaining this shaved look for the long term.
