I believe there is a time and a place for structured nutrition planning… depending on your goals of course. Personally, I thrive off of structure. It makes my life easier. My personal nutrition plan is detailed and includes the foods that I love. When I have a treat, I enjoy every bit of it… without the guilt.
…But it took me a while to get to this place… I had to embrace the fundamentals first. I had to stop becoming a prisoner to diets and food restrictions.

I’m certain that there are a great number of men and women who would benefit from reading Sane and Simple Nutrition… but I’m also sure that it’s not for everyone. If you’re looking for a meal plan and thrive off of structure and details, this book is not for you. If for some crazy reason you would prefer a complicated approach to nutrition, this book is not for you.
