Today’s Back and Biceps workout included some unilateral exercises to enhance our mind muscle connection and add variety to our training. This workout is from Phase 9 from the Aesthetic Muscle Plan.
Prior to the workout I tried doing a one-arm Pull Up… and to my surprise I was able to do some. I guess this bodybuilding bro is functional after all 🙂
During the workout we utilized the assisted Pull-Up machine to hammer out some extra reps. Check it out…
One thing became very apparent during the workout… my left biceps fatigues much quicker than my right.
The 3rd exercise in our biceps triset is a TRX biceps curl. If you do not have access to a TRX you can use the bar on a Smith machine or wrap a towel around a fixed structure.
Here’s the workout structure…
A1 Single Arm Pull Up
A2 Dumbbell Row (standing, no support)
A3 Single Arm Straight Arm Pulldown
B1 Single Arm Cable Curl
B2 Single Arm Hammer Curl
B3 TRX Biceps Curl
