My buddy and fellow lightweight natural bodybuilder Adam Wilks joined Rick and I for an intense leg workout focused on hypertrophy and aesthetic muscle gains. I recorded the entire workout so you can check out how all three of us perform each of the leg exercises with slightly different techniques.
Stay tuned at the end of the video where I share every aesthetic muscle meal that I ate for the day.
Here’s the details for the leg workout;
A1: Leg Press – 15-20 reps – 3 sets
B1: Conventional Deadlift – 6-10 reps – 3 sets
C1: Front Squats – Activation set for 12 reps followed by Myo-rep sets of 3 reps. Rest for 10 seconds between sets and keep going until you can only do 2 reps.
D1: Leg Curl – 10-12 reps – 3 sets
D2: Leg Extension – 10-12 reps – 3 sets
This leg workout is from phase 15 of the Aesthetic Muscle Plan.
At this point I’m really focused on training for the ‘feel’ while enhancing my mind-muscle connection. I’m not overly concerned about loading more and more weight on the bar. I’m more concerned with creating tension exactly where I want to feel it.
